I like this photo because even though all the image is in black and white the orange lips add an accent of colour. i love the way he uses light reflections to create this very weird and wonderful and i love the effect it gives. I like the way the picture is of only part of the model and the model is looking away from the camera i think it gives a nice effect and gives a sense of mystery. This is quite a dark image but the brightness of the white on the face and that contrasting colour of the orange makes it stand out.
Solve Sundsbo

I love this piece of work from solve as i find it very fascinating how he create all the blind effect. Also the pose of the model the fact that she isn't looking at the camera and has her arm across her face and tries to hide something but also with er fingers n her mouth. There is a tint of pink going on across the model which i think is nice as it adds an accented colour. this one is very delicate compared to the other one with line across the face as there is a slight pink tone to this piece of work and they are very fine lines.

I like this one as its different to the other one with spots on, the spots are a different colour and size and i think it gives a different look to the model and a more dramatic look and adds more depth to her face. This one is totally different to the other two with lines on as they are a lot lighter than this one this one is very dark and only has small highlights across the face, the circles across the face are very white and bright and stand out very clearly.
Here are my first two attempts at solve sundsbo's work. i have used a tumble dryer sheet with black polka dots on for the image on the right, and for the image on the left i used my slatted blindes with a light shining through the window to create the stripey effect. The polka dot design didnt really turn out as strong as as i wanted it to but if i was to repeat this again i would have more time to think about how i would execute this properly. The slatted blind turned out quite well and did give the effect i was looking for. I think the polka dot design would have been more successful if i had used a dimmer light and make it not as bright.
